Julissa,
I hope you enjoy this story I wrote for you. Always remember: Girls Can Do It, Too.

Meet Julia.
She is 8 years old and loves sports.

Hi, I'm Julia!
Her favorite sport to play is baseball, but the boys will not let her play with them.

This makes Julia very sad, but instead of giving up Julia decided to make an all girls baseball team.

The girls practiced every day after school. Julia decided that it was time for them to play a game.

She asked the boys to play against them. The boys thought it would be an easy win, but they were wrong.

The girls played a very tough game. It was the last inning. The girls were losing by one run. Julia was up to the plate. She knew she would have to hit the ball hard if they had any chance of beating the boys.

Julia saw the ball getting closer so she took a deep breath and swung the bat as hard as she could. The ball went over all of the boys' heads AND over the fence.
