There once was a man named John. John had a happy life, with the same daily routine. He would wake up, get dressed, feed his dog Rufus and head off to work.

He would stop and grab a coffee, saying hello to the same coffee shop lady every morning.

John would walk to his work, sit at his desk and work until it was dark outside.

One night after an extra long day, John slept in his bed, with Rufus next to him and asked, “is this it? Why can’t I travel the world, or meet a girl, I'm so very tired of this daily routine.”

Rufus just sat in silence and licked his hand.

The next morning, John was feeling down. He got up, got dressed, fed Rufus and head off for another day of work.

 At the coffee shop, that same girl noticed something different about John, she asked, “Hey John, why do you seem so blue?”

John answered with a frown, “Well, I want to travel the world, see things I have only seen in pictures.”.

“Well what’s stopping you, John?” the lady answered with a smile.

John sat at his desk later that day, her words circling his mind, unable to work or focus.

John woke up in a mess, scared of his work and unhappy with his city life, he quickly packed his bag, packed Rufus’s food, and head off, but not to work on this sunny morning.
