Cell theory
is the historic scientific theory, now universally accepted, that living organisms are made up of cells, that they are the basic structural/organizational unit of all organisms, and that all cells come from pre-existing cells.

eukaryotes
are organisms whose cells have a nucleus enclosed within membranes, unlike prokaryotes, which have no membrane-bound organelles.

prokaryotic
is a unicellular organism that lacks a membrane-bound nucleus, mitochondria, or any other membrane-bound organelle.

nucleus
the central and most important part of an object, movement, or group, forming the basis for its activity and growth.

organelle
any of a number of organized or specialized structures within a living cell.

cell wall
a structural layer surrounding some types of cells, just outside the cell membrane.

vacuole
vacuole is a membrane-bound organelle which is present in all plant and fungal cells and some protist, animal and bacterial cells.

endoplasmic reticulum
is a type of organelle found in eukaryotic cells that forms an interconnected network of flattened, membrane-enclosed sacs or tube-like structures known as cisternae.
