I dedicate this book to all the kids that are afraid of making friends.

Melisa was ten years old. She was a quiet girl who didn't have any friends at school. She was alone all the time.

Nobody would sit at lunch with her. In class she would be afraid to try to make friends. She felt invisible and didn't even try to talk to her classmates.

Melisa's mom always would ask her "How was your day"
She would make up stories about how fun was her day playing at recess with her friends.
She didn't want her mom to find out that she didn't have any friends.

Melisa's school was closer to her house, so she walked to school every day.
One day while she was coming by herself from school she saw a moving truck in front of her neighbor's house.
She thought "We are going to have new neighbors".
