Dedicated To My Mom In Heaven

June,2005 another scorching summer day in Chicago. one of those days when I had to drive my mom to her doctor's appointment. she was undergoing chemo and radiation treatments. as I sat there watching and waiting patiently I was overwhelmed by the stress of seeing her in so much pain.

I just couldn't bear it no longer. the sight of my mother in pain,I plunged to my knees and grief and poured out uncontrollable floods of tears.

My mother, looked at me with her exhausted eyes from all the medical treatments. What words spoken softly don't worry everything's going to be alright.

But, mom I said. I just don't know what I'd do if I lost you. I don't think I can go on.

Years, went by in my mom is constantly losing weight. Why aren't the medical treatments working mom? She answered in her faded words from lack of strength which I barely can hear. I'm just so tired of all these chemo treatments. Mom! You can't give up now.

Regardless of the state of my mom's health she remains a beautiful, outgoing, positive and radiant woman.
