Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

One beautiful morning during assembly,

a group of people came to talk to us about playing our part to protect our environment.

Sheena looked at me and said "Huh"? I looked at her and said ''Oh man, another boring assembly!''

All of a sudden we saw three big plastic containers rolled in with a strange logo on it. We would soon learn that they represented the three R's: Reuse, reduce and recycle.

They used puppets and videos, they really brought alive the whole concept to us as children. It wasn't a boring assembly after all.

We were learning about how to save our environment by reusing, reducing and recycling. What an exciting morning!

As soon as we got upstairs to our classroom, we talked to the teacher about our desire to do more research on the three R's.

We also told the teacher of our desire to do posters to be placed around the school to inform our peers on the importance of the three R's.
