Examples: Numbers, Words, Measurements
Deviation from the mean- The average of absolute differences.
Examples: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 is (15 / 5) or 3.
Dot Plot- A chart of data plots on a simple scale
Equally likely- Events that have the same probability of occurring
Event- a thing that happens, especially one of importance.
Experiment- a scientific procedure undertaken to make a discovery, test a hypothesis, or demonstrate a known fact.
Experimental probability- is the ratio of the number of times an event occurs to the total number of trials or times the activity is performed
Mean- The mean is the average of the numbers
Mean absolute- a data set is the average distance between each data value and the mean
Median- is the "middle" value in the list of numbers
Mode- The number which appears most often in a set of numbers
Out come- is a result of an event that depends on probability, and any event can have more than one possible outcome.
Parameter- is a quantity that influences the output or behavior of a mathematical object but is viewed as being held constant.
