Once upon a time there were two best friends Hammy the hamster and Whiskers the cat.

When they got to school their teacher asked them if they brought back their homework. Hammy didn't know what to do. He had to decide what to do and fast. He raised his hand nervously.

She went around to every table to collect the homework. Everybody had theirs except Hammy. When she got to his table she asked him where his was. "I didn't bring it," he said, looking ashamed."Well then why did you raise

your hand?"his teacher said. "I don't know," he replied while he started to cry. "You're not in trouble," she said. "I'm not?"asked Hammy. "Nope," replied his teacher." Just try to get it back next time, okay?" "Okay," the little hamster replied.

The trip back home went by fast. The two friends talked and talked "Want to come to my house?" asked Whiskers. "Sure!" replied Hammy, so off they went to Whiskers's house.
