A prehistoric person used to make single bread by mixing groats with water. Then he bakes the resulting dough over stones that are preheated.
Researchers have found the remains of the oldest loaf of bread in the world in Jordan, which turned out to be the oldest in the world at all, as it was prepared more than 14 thousand years ago, that is, more than four thousand years before the discovery of agriculture. This "extraordinary event" is a motivation for scientists to search for a correlation between bread production and the genesis of agriculture.
Historians believe that the ancient Egyptians learned to make yeast bread in about the year 2600 BC. As for the ancient Greeks, they learned to make bread from the Egyptians, and they, in turn, later transferred this to the Romans. By the 2nd century AD, the Romans had transferred the method of baking to most of Europe.

The history of bread in France

It is said that the French bread originated from the Neapolitan valleys, as these valleys were the first to make bread in this way, as this form was made by Napoleon the first baker in order to make the bread easy to transport to the soldiers, by placing it in the pockets of the military. Then this type of bread was developed in Paris during the 1920s.
There are other sources that confirm that this bread was originally produced on the Paris metro by an engineer, but this story becomes weak in front of its predecessor.
