Sarah and I had just got home from school. We were about to go outside to play when my dear aunt Sally was going silly!

"Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally, Sarah. She must be having a day!"

"Oh, come sit down my dear aunt Sally. What is the matter?"

My dear aunt Sally exclaimed that she was having a hard time remembering her order of operations.

"Aunt Sally, it is your lucky day. Sarah and I finished learning about order of operations today at school!"

My dear aunt Sally exclaimed, "Girls, I have been frazzled all day as I cannot solve this problem for my lunch math group tomorrow!

Are you sure you can help me?"

Our teacher Mrs. Clay, gave us an acronym to help us remember the order of operations at school.

Sarah said "The acronym is P.E.M.D.A.S. It stands for Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition and, Subtraction."

Aunt Sally jumped up and her papers went flying everywhere!

"But girls! How am I going to remember that? How will I remember the order of the operations?"
