A hero, what is a hero?; When we are children they explain to us that a hero is someone with super strength, with special powers or special gifts, as they are drawn or presented in comics, as children we are not very aware of the things that happen around us; but even so, we keep in our memories people helping, doing good acts of kindness. 

As we grow up, we improve our perception of things and those memories of childhood are given a meaning and that is when we understand that a hero is not like comics or drawings; A hero is someone real, of flesh and blood, with admirable actions that show that heroes exist, but that they are invisible beings and not perhaps because they cannot be seen; rather it is because they are those beings that appear at unexpected moments; they are invisible heroes.

My invisible hero is someone who helps others without receiving anything in return because he does it with solidarity, respect and love. A hero is someone who protects those who need a hand. For example: those solidarity people who are not afraid to help, either an old man, a child, a colleague, a friend, neighbor or family member. They are those people who protect the most defenseless, like a human or animal.

A nurse who worked some years ago in the small parish where I live; he took in a poor old man who did not have the support of his family; That nurse fed him, took care of him, gave him a hand and gave him something that many of us no longer take into account; it is faith, hope, a few moments of joy; Maybe I was very young and didn't understand much about what was happening, but I remember that person as someone admirable, an invisible hero.

A hero is someone who protects and listens; there are moments that one lives which makes the world around you no longer see the same; When you are in a circle of negative and destructive thoughts, they take you to a point where you change and you feel that everything around you hurts;

and in those moments people appear who help you by listening to you and without realizing it you have reduced a weight that was crushing you.

Those people who give you a hand and protect you from yourself, from your fears and thoughts, which little by little help you to get out of that hole in which you feel trapped and constantly hurt; but thanks to those invisible heroes you feel that you improve,

that you are reborn.

Those heroes can be a friend, professional people, a couple, family member, etc. But the most important thing is not to forget that we ourselves are also our own invisible heroes, because even if we don't realize it we also have super powers.
