Mario grew up in a small Italian province called Trentino Alto-Adige that backed up on the Swiss Alps. He would go shopping daily for his mother where he would go to the butcher, the baker, and the farmers market.  

As Mario grew older, he would go ski and hike in the beautiful mountain ranges near his house. He always loved the small businesses and their owners and looked up to them as a young kid. 

After Mario moved out of his parents house, he was content living his life; going to work, coming home over lunch for food and a nap before returning to work two hours later, leaving work to catch up with with his friends. 

Mario would eat pasta almost daily and have many seasonal vegetables too. He would eat local and fresh foods and cook for himself. His favorite thing to make was Bolognese with gnocchi like he made with his mother all those years ago.

After many years of the same monotonous tasks, Mario decided he wanted a change and decided to move to the United States of America. He chose this because he knew people who lived there and he was excited about the business prospects.
