"Why is it so hot today?" asked Tom.

"I have no idea!" said Chris.

"We better get home." said Chris.

"I want to go home and turn on the air conditioner to the lowest temperature!"

They finally reached home. 

"Beep!" They turned on the air conditioner.

"Ahhh!" the boys said, feeling satisfied.

Out of the blue, their mother went into their room. The boys asked their mother why was the weather hotter than before.

Mummy, why was the weather hotter than before?

"That's because of global warming," Mother said.

  The boys are confused.

  "Tell me more!" The boys said.

"This is because of the large amount of carbon dioxide in the air," Mother said.
