Albus woke up from his nap in a strange place. He looked to him left and saw a sign that said "Welcome to the Age of Imperialism." Join Albus along his journey walking through the United States Age of Imperialism!

Albus began by walking across a large pile of timber. He realized that he must be in Alaska. Alaska was added to the United States after William Seward purchased it from Alaska. A lot of people thought it was a big mistake and called it "Seward's Folly" but Alaska turned out to have many natural resources and was eventually added as the 49th state!
After jumping down from the timber, Albus found himself in a wet harbor. "Pearl Harbor!" he realized. Hawaii was another territory added to the United States. It became the 50th state and the US was interested in its strategic military location and it also had economic advantages like pineapples! Albus decided to keep walking so he could dry his shoes.

Unfortunately, Albus again found himself in water. Luckily he was in the Panama Canal and the canal shortened travel time from the West Coast to the East Coast! He remembered that the canal was built after the US gave Panama $10 million but now the canal is owned by Panama. Albus decided to keep walking in hopes of getting out of the water.
