There were four best friends, Sam, Eric, Lily, and Lisa who loved to play. They called themselves the fantastic four! They were never apart, not even for a day. 

The fantastic four danced to the same beat, sang the same songs, and even sat in the same seat.

On hot days, they swam at the pool and walked home together every day after school.

When they played they shared imaginary friends, hosted tea parties, and hoped the days would never end.

One day at Eric's house, the fantastic four all dressed up as their favorite super hero, not knowing how the day would go. In front of the mirror, they played like a unit. But when they looked closely, they just saw differences.

Lisa said to her friends with a frown "My hair is dark and curly but Lily's is blonde and straight. One of our hairstyles must be wrong." Lily said with a big frown back "Mine and Sam's skin is white but Lisa's and Eric's skin is tan." 

Eric and Sam began saying how they are sad they do not have long pretty hair like the girls. While the girls started saying they wish they were as tall and as strong as the boys. A day that started out fun, turned into talking down on their selves.
