Trees are all over the forest.

Humans are all over the world.

Shouldn't there be enough room for everyone?

There should be, but humans don't think so.

People cut down trees so there is more room for houses and farms.

This is called deforestation.

This sounds okay, but where do the animals and trees go?

The trees are cut down and made into paper, lumber, and a variety of another things.

Animals are left homeless and without their mom and dad.

Is this good for the animals?

Is this good for the air we breathe?

No, it is not.

To cut down trees, we use machines.

The machines use gas, and gas is not good for the air. 

But... you know what is good for the air?

TREES!

Yes! We are, so the air is not good. It is hard for us and the animals to breathe.
