Once upon a time, there were three siblings walking home from school. Their names were Wendy, John, and Michael. The siblings decided to take the shorter route home and went through an alleyway, where they stumbled upon a boy about Wendy’s age in a cardboard box.

“Hello there,” the boy said. “I’m Peter Pan! Would you like to explore the world of Neverland with me?” The three looked at Peter Pan and then back at each other in confusion. “Just follow me into my box and we’ll be on our way.” Peter Pan said with a grin on his face.

The three shrugged and followed him into the box. He closed the box and like that, they were suddenly in the world he had spoken of, Neverland! The three were in complete shock, they thought Peter Pan was joking with them, and they thought it was just a box. “Wow, this is incredible,” Wendy said, still in shock. “What can we do here?”

“What do you mean ‘what can we do here’?” Peter Pan replied. “This is Neverland, where you NEVER get to do anything. We haven’t been able to do anything since that crooked Captain Hook took it all away.” Wendy gave him a look of disbelief, questioning why they decided to follow him. “Why, why, why did you not tell us that before!?” Wendy angrily replied. “I don’t know. I’m a 13 year old with the mind of a 5 year old, what do you think?” Peter Pan replied grumpily.

The siblings decided to get away from Peter Pan for a bit and wandered around, hoping to find a way home. While walking through a forest, they saw half-a-dozen young boys. Michael, the middle child, nervously approached the boys and asked who they were.

“Why, we’re the Bored Boys,” one of them responded. “We’ve been on this island for years trying to get off since we arrived, it’s so bland.” The siblings decided to tag along with the boys since they knew more about the island.

As the group emerged out of the forest, they found the other side of the island where they saw a big wooden ship. The ship threw a rope over the side, and somebody on board asked for them to come aboard. One-by-one they hoisted themselves up the rope and reached the ship. “We’re looking for a way off of this island, do you guys know how to?” Wendy questioned the crew.

Out of his quarters came Captain Hook, the leader of his crew. “Why, we control the way to get off of this island, but we won’t let you off.” he told the children with an evil grin across his face. “You see, we took this island for our own many years ago and wiped away all the magic that used to be here, making it a barren wasteland with nothing to do. Only we get the fun!” he concluded with an evil laugh. “Smee, take them to the brig!”
A little stubby man emerged from the crew and dragged them to their cell.
