Hello, My Name is Abigail Rothwell and I used to think I  knew a lot about technologies in the class, but now not so much.

Abby is at a store making her way back home. During this time she is going to talk about what she now thinks about technologies she can use in the class. Along her way she will meet some interesting things, with interesting questions.

I use to think that google drive was just to write papers.

Google Docs is more than that. It is a great tool to organize, and share new ideas amongst teachers and students. 

Isn't Pinterest just for social Media?

As funny as it is I thought that too, But it is a great way for students and teachers to share activities and organize them, to help the students see what activities they can work on.

That is a good question, I felt like students are unaware about cyberbullying, However there is a Digital Citizenship. This is a site to help educate students to prevent dangerous actions

Well I used to think that you could only create timelines through pencil work. But now I think that Infographics are great way for students to work on timelines and chronological order. there are more than one way to do things anymore.

You sure have used a lot of technologies, is there a way some how you can share a video on how to use a cite?

You know, I did nit think there was, but there is a free tool called Screencasify. If a student is lost on how to find things on a websites the teacher can share a video to a class on how to figure it out! It is a great tool to help your students especially online!

Now, that Abby had reached her home she will talk about her favorite technology she used and is apart of the coding.

Now that I am home, Coding on Code.org is one of my favorite, new Technologies. I used to think it had to do with super smart people and math. But now, anyone can go on and use it. Students are able to learn math, science and technology skills. They also become rather creative as well.
