The Moon is far, far away from Earth. The distance from Earth to the Moon is 238,857 miles away.

Did you know if we did not have a Moon we would not have waves in our oceans?

Did you know that the Moon is the Earths only natural satellite? This means it stays near Earths gravitational pull. Isn't that so cool!

It takes the Moon 27 days to go once around the moon.

The first time a someone set foot on the Moon was on July 20,1969. That day the USA made history.
