One day Sarah Smith was at school. Her teacher was talking about their homework. It was about the body. Sarah was really excited because she loved learning about the body so much.

When Sarah's bus was called, she went into the hallway and on the bus. Sarah's mom gave her a book a long time ago. It was about THE BODY. Sarah stared at the book. It sparkled like gold.

Learn about the body 

Your homework is to learn about the body.

When it was Sarah’s stop, she got off the bus and into her house.                   

“Hi, Sarah,” said her brothers Hubert and Tim.

“Hi! Do you two want to look at this cool book?” asked Sarah.

“Sure!” said Hubert.

“Okay’’ said Tim.

“Great!” said Sarah.

They all sat down and started to read the book. After a while, they got to a page that had hand signals. They looked at each other and then did the hand signals at the same time. The book started to glow!

Do you want to learn about the body?

Okay.

Sure!

    The    Human

    Body

The next thing they saw was clear skies, with birds and trees everywhere. Tim looked around and saw a piece of paper on the ground. He picked it up and said, “Look at this!”

“It looks like the map in the book,’’ said Hubert. “Wait... where is the book? It was with us just a minute ago.’’

“Oh, we must have been sucked into the book!” said Sarah.  

“Oh yeah! It’s kind of like that movie that we watched..."  said Tim.

Chapter 2 

Sucked into a book

“It must have been the hand signals that got us here, but how do we get back?” asked Sarah.

“I don’t know but let’s just keep on walking until we get some answers,” replied Hubert.

So they kept on walking thinking that they would get some answers, but all they found were some letters scrambled up: 

So...where are we?

“What does that mean?'' asked Sarah after a while. 

“Maybe it's a code,” replied Tim. “ I love these!”

“Let's try scrambling up the letters to make the word,” suggested Hubert. “It might help us figure out where we are. So, they tried that and they got a lot of options. 

First they got BODYJU but that didn’t make sense so they tried BOJYDU, but that did work either! Finally, they tried JUBODY and that felt correct.

 Then Sarah asked “So…where are we?”

“I think we are in JUBODY!” said Hubert.  

“I wonder what JUBODY is?” asked Tim.

“And, how do we get home?” asked Sarah. 

“I don’t know,” said Hubert.  

“Let’s look around!” said Sarah. 

“Good idea!” said Tim.

Chapter 3 

How to Get Out

So they walked until they came to an old camper van. The camper van was dirty, had flies everywhere, and a sign that said "BEWARE".

“Should we knock on the door?” asked Tim.

“I guess,” said Sarah. 

They knocked on the door. KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK. 

“What do you want?” said a voice from inside the camper van.

I know the way out of here.

What do you  mean?

“We would like to know the way to get out of here,”  whispered Hubert.

“Fine… come on in,” said the voice from inside the camper van.

They opened the door. They walked inside. The door creaked shut behind there. There was water dripping from the ceiling. 

“I know the way out of here,” said a voice in the corner of the room.  A man walked out of the corner. “My name is Shinzu. The way out is… by looking for the thing you need.”

“What do you mean?” asked Hubert.

“Well, you must look for the part of the body that you can find in this place. But you must also look for something about yourself,” said Shinzu.

“Ok, can you help us?” asked Sarah.

“I can help you find the objects, but you need to find out for yourself what you need,” said Shinzu.

They didn't understand, but they knew it was their only way to get home so they decided to give Shinzu a chance.

Chapter 4

Hubert

“I will look for the first thing!” said Hubert. 

“Let’s start from the bottom and work our way up,” said Tim.

“Ok!” said Sarah.

Shinzu said, “Look within. Look for what you need. You must find the bluebird feather feet!"

They went outside and saw a tall tree and way up on the top branch, there was a bluebird’s nest.
