Edmonton is the second-largest city in Alberta with around 1,461,000 people living there. Edmonton is the fifth largest city in Canada and the capital city of the province of Alberta. Edmonton has about 684 km² of land as well. Edmonton is in the Mountain Standard Time zone which means that they are 2 hours behind us in Toronto.
Places to go to
1. The west Edmonton mall is one place I would really like to go to. The West Edmonton Mall is the largest in North America, with it being 5.3 million square feet, equivalent to a small city's size. West Edmonton Mall has more than 800 stores, nine world-class attractions, two hotels, and over 100 dining venues.
The average yearly visitation is approximately 30.8 million, making West Edmonton Mall the province's number one tourist attraction. Inside the mall, a zoo, a bowling alley, a waterpark, a skating rink, mini-golf, an amusement park, go-cart racing, an aquarium and a maze.

2. The Muttart Conservatory is another place I would love to go to. It's a botanical garden in the North Saskatchewan river valley in the downtown core in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is also one of the best-known landmarks of Edmonton. The Muttart Conservatory has more than 700 species of plants in 3 climate-regulated biomes (arid, temperate and tropical).

3. Alberta Legislature Building is another tourist attraction. The Alberta Legislature Building is in Edmonton and is the gathering place of the Legislative Assembly and the Executive Council. It has been shortened to "the Ledge". The Alberta Legislature Building is at 10801 97 Avenue NW. There are free tours of the building are offered throughout the week. The building is also connected via underground walkway to the Grandin LRT Station and Government Centre Transit Centre.

4. Edmonton Corn Maze is another spot. The Edmonton Corn Maze is a popular attraction west of Edmonton, Alberta. It is a huge maze in a field of corn and it's around 15 acres. It is open from August to October and the theme is around a local event or attraction. The Edmonton Corn Maze is part of "The MAiZE". The MAiZE is the largest corn maze company in the world.

5. The Snow Valley Ski Club is another great place to go. It's located inside Edmonton, Alberta just off the Whitemud Freeway in 119 Street in Rainbow Valley. The club is a not-for-profit organization. The slope is mostly for primary to beginner skiers and snowboarders, with only 15% of the area for advanced. It has one pulse quad chairlift, one triple chairlift, and two magic carpets.
