It was summer and holiday time for Dream family.After a tiring year, they decided to travel to different places.

They packed their suitcases and were ready for their holiday. Sally and Tom were very excited for this new journey.

And they got on the bus and started their journey!

They travelled for hours. Sally and Tom were looking out of the bus window for the landscape and trying to learn something about these new places.

It is called Blue Bead. We have blue bead trees here . In Turkey , it is a superstition. It is believed to protect from the evil eye.

Here is my home! Please come inside! I would like to serve you Turkish coffee with Turkish delight!

This is called Turkish coffee. The tradition itself is a symbol of hospitality, friendship, delicacy and entertainment.It is served with Turkish delight and a glass of water.

They thank to Sue and leave the house. While walking they see two men in strange clothes and wonder who they are. Sally asks :

Excuse me ! Who are you? Why are you wearing such clothes?

We are Karagöz and Hacivat. We are the main characters of Turkish shadow theatre. We have funny plays. Tonight we have a show you can come and watch us!

Wow ! It is wonderful! I definitely want to see some time.Thank you !

What picturesque landscapes!

It is wonderful to admire the green forest, the yellow wheat fields and the blue sea.

It's the Black Sea. It is very important for Romania.

After the rain, the rainbow appears.

In some areas it is believed that when a color predominates in the rainbow, red will make a lot of wine, when green predominates, a lot of wheat will be made and when blue predominates, there will be a lot of drought and death.

It's meal time. We have Romanian dishes. Rainbow of colors in the food.

They are dressed in traditional costumes.  They will learn to dance folk dances. We'll look at them.

It's time to break up. I'll give you a „mărțișor”. It's worn in March. It will remind you of our meeting. Good bye!
