Long ago The Israelites had been slaves for the Egyptians for many years and finally the king had let them go and be free.

Finally we are free!

When the Egyptian ruler realised what he had done   he was very angry because he no longer had any slaves to give demands to

The king commanded all his army and war chariots to go after the Israelis and get them back! The Israelites were on there way when the Egyptians caught up to them while they where camping by the red sea,

  The Israelites begged the lord for help when the saw the Egyptians coming but they also complained to moses. 

 moses told all the Israelites that they didn’t have to worry because the lord was on there side 

don't worry the lord is on our side 

The lord said why do you keep asking for my help, tell the Israelites to walk up to the water and when you wave you walking stick over the sea.

"a path will clear in the water and you will be able to safely walk through" 

 He not only gave the Israelites a safe path to be freed but he made the Egyptians so stubborn they will follow after you

    When they are half way through there travels the walls will fall and they will be gone
