Hello! My name is Sophie, and I'm a street artist. Today, I have been commissioned to create a new mural in my hometown.

4. Ladder

Street artists are commissioned to create public art. Our art is different from graffiti because our work is picture-based instead of word-based. 

Graffiti artists aren't usually concerned with the public's reaction to their art. Their goal isn't to connect with the masses. 

Street artists are usually commissioned to create with a specific audience in mind. They aim to connect with their audience or at least create appreciation for whatever it is they are trying to convey.
