THE PROCLAMATION OF 1763 october 7 1763
The British did not want the colonists to move
westward. This made it so that they couldn't and it
angered the colonists because they felt controlled.
the reason the british did this was to reserve land for
tribal Indians. If i was a colonist I would have felt i did so
much for nothing.

SUGAR ACT april 5 1774
the british put taxes on things like sugar and coffee to
pay off their war debts. this made the colonists start
wanting a say in the taxes they need to pay because the
british didn't let them know what they did. the colonists
were also forced to pay these taxes.this led to the
revolution because the colonists felt the british had no
right to tax them.I would have felt this way as well
because the british fought the war not the colonists.

QUARTERING ACT march 22 1765
this was a law passed by the british that forced the
colonists keep british soldiers in their houses .this
angered the colonists because they felt the british were
trying to spy on them.I would have felt the same but i
probably wouldn't have done anything though.

STAMP ACT march 24 1765
it was a tax on most mailed goods and was put in to
control the colonists.it also made them buy a stamp to
prove they paid this tax. This angered the colonists and
they boycotted british goods until the british removed
the tax.I think they had full right to do that because
again the british don't have a right to tax them.

TOWNSHEND ACTS june 29 1767
It was a law that the british passed that made the
colonists pay an indirect tax on imported goods. the
colonists stopped buying and fights started . I would
have been very angry and would have done the same.

BOSTON MASSACRE march 5 1770
the british were getting angry with the colonists and
some soldiers fired and killed 5 colonists. the colonists
were very angry and stopped trade with britain.I would
have wanted the war to start then and would have been
angry as well.

BOSTON TEA PARTY may 1773
sam adams and other rebels dressed as mohawks and
dumped tea into the boston harbor.it led to england
passing the intolerable acts to punish the colonists for
the boston tea party.I would have dumped tea into the
harbor because it was a good way to get back at
britain.

THE INTOLERABLE ATCS may - june 1774
4 laws made to punish the colonists for the boston tea
party. the british cut off boston ports so the colonists
made a colonial meeting.i would have done this too
because then the country went along to revolution.

First Continental Congress Sept-Oct. 1774
it was the first meeting of all the colonies in which
they made the declaration of independence. it united
the colonies forming an alliance which would help
them win the revolutionary war. I would not have
made the declaration i would have started fighting.
