Outdoor learning isn’t a subject or topic. It’s a way of teaching.
No doubts that it’s possible for school grounds and local greenspaces to be used daily to enhance teaching and learning right across the curriculum, and to deliver a wide range of associated benefits, including promoting children’s social and emotional skills and their engagement with learning.
Let's do it and share our experience for colleagues from other countries.

A methodology outdoor learning book is full of activities, ideas, plans, pictures. It will be a dissemination of good practice for other teachers who wants to use this way of teaching.

In Autumn
"Colours of nature". A fun art activity which involves pounding plants to release their natural pigments into cloth!

"Autumn Leaves Display ". Create a musical firework display using leaves.
Autumn Leaves Around Our School :)

"Poetree"
Study a tree with all the senses to inspire creative poems.

In Winter
"Festive Star Hanging" or "Dream catchers". Create an eye-catching star decoration from only six sticks and some string!
Children were encouraged to take photos of winter with their mobile phones. Those unable to manage on their own or not owning a phone were helped by teachers and assistants. Children were mostly interested by structure and effect of snow and ice on trees, buildings etc.

"Animal Track Trap". Most of the time though we only see those that are active during the day, like birds on a feeder.

A simple snow/sand trap will allow you to capture the footprints of those unseen visitors and those that visit at night.

"Story Stick".Tell a story using natural props attached to a stick or you can do 101 things with a Stick. On the page http://www.beactivekids.org/assets/pdf/101_Stick_NCCAN.pdf

We made an insect hotel.
