The NAYEC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment's primary goal is to advocate for children, families, colleagues, communities, and society.
The NAYEC Ethical Responsibilities to Children “is to provide care and education in settings that are safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive for each child” (NAYEC, 2011).

*Helping children learn to live, play, and work cooperatively.
