Teaching robotics in Kindergarten
Through integrating of coding in learning/teaching process, children to develop general skills, gain specific knowledge about technology, develop their critical knowledge ,develop their creativity, develop their self-expression and self confidence and all skill of 21st century.
With this way we gave the opportunity to our children learned from early age through playful activities the coding and develop computational thinking.
For the needs of the project children used smart devices and diferent kind of robots (Bee bot,mouse bot,Kids first coding and robotics ,snail robot,dog robot,ozobot,photon) to learned their name ,numbers, flags, countries, fruits, animals,flowers played fairy tales , to made various stories and scenarios and they really enjoyed it ,starting their journey to the amazing world of STEM and robotics.
This book contains 15 different robotics teaching scenarios
(3 from each partner)
First learning scenario (by the use of Bee bot )
"Bee bot and the hidden treasure of piraetus "
Children prepared the maquete and decoreted it.
They made an island in the midle of the sea and they
put on the island the treasure.
Can Bee bot to discover where children have hidden
the treasure ?

2nd scenario: " Sammy and the little penquin" by Sammy
A little penguin left his mom's nest and went far away! Luckily for him, But he met in his road Sammy our robot who helped him get backto his mammy.
After that , Sammy and the little penguin became friends and one day Sammy visited his friend and gave him a blanket as a gift so that he would not get cold in the evenings since he lives on the ice.The little penquin was really very happy with this present !

3rd scenario : "Dance in the spring "
(by the use of mouse robot )
Spring has come !
Ansouela ,our mouse robot,love this season!
She is so happy with the coming of spring so she is starting to dance in the spring nature a beautiful waltz!
Children make the maquete and decorate it,cooperated to find the right steps and programmed the robot to dance in the spring!

1st scenario: "Autumn salad for a squirrel"
Together with the Bee-bot robot, children learn to find the necessary ingredients for an autumn salad. Then everyone makes a salad together!
Children learn to program the right direction to get to your destination. Collaborate to solve mistakes, support each other.

2nd scenario: "The Photon robot visits the main objects of the city of the project member state."

Inspired by what is seen in the e-book, the
children create objects from the building
materials available in the ground!
3rd scenario: "Bee-bot learn math"
Using the Bee-bot robot, children learn counting skills through play.
The child pulls out the kinder egg, than he has the mathematical operation out of the box, calculates and programs the robot to move to the next box. He need to cout and finde result.

"The journey of water "
Children prepared the scenario about
the cycle of water.
Firstly, they watched a video and look for
different pictures to learn the different
steps the water normally follow to became
from liquid state to a gas state.
Secondly, children draw the pictures in a panel. After that, children progamme the bee bot in order to follow the journey. Can Bee bot discover what happen with water?
2nd scenario: " Coding with dinosaurs "
Learning the world of dinosaurs with the help of robots at school. Children have to follow the codes given to learn more information about different species of dinosaurs.
First, children have to choose one dinosaur and code the bee bot. After that, when bee bot arrive to the correct picture, they have to scan the QR code with an electronical device like a mobile phone or a tablets.
Finally, children read new and
interesting information about
these animals.
3rd scenario : "Easter eggs " (by the use of bee bot)
Welcome Spring! Easter Bunny is coming because is Easter Week at school!
Children try to find the eggs that our Easter Bunny has hidden in our class. They have to follow the clues given. After that, they have to progamme the robot and get the egges described by the teacher.
