It is dedicated to all students never to be afraid to stand up for themselves and prove people wrong.

There once was a little boy named Alfred Wegener. Everyone thought he was weird because he always wanted to work on science in the classroom.

One day the science class all had to begin their science fair experiment. Before they could start the investigation, they had to develop a hypothesis.

That evening, Alfred thought and thought of the best hypothesis.
It took him a while, but he finally got it and could not wait to return to school and present it to the class.
Alfred woke up, told his mom his hypothesis, and went off to school!

It was Alfred's turn to present to the class. He began speaking softly, "I hypothesize that all continents were once joined together in a single landmass and have since drifted apart!"

When Alfred was done talking, the bell rang for recess, and he sighed with relief.

All the kids thought he was insane during recess and did not talk or go near him.
