Benjamin Franklin was born January 17 1706 in Boston. Franklin went to school and had a little formal education, but his education got limited and finished at 10 years old. Later on in life he moved to Philadelphia for a printing business and became wealthy. 

But sadly on April 17 1790 Benjamin Franklin passed away

This is a diagram on how franklins stove was constructed

The Franklins stove was invented in 1742, he invented the stove to create and new source to provide heat in peoples homes.

An invention that has lead up to Franklins stove, was the metal wood burning stove that has been invented in the 16th century.

Benjamin Franklin also invented the glass armonica which was a popular entertainment in the early 18th century    

Another invention was the bifocal eyeglasses which provide a clear distinction between near and far vision prescription within the lens.
