
I will be talking about some Vitamins and what they do throughout our body. But, what are vitamins? Vitamins are essential when it comes to our body functions. Vitamins CANNOT be produced by our body or organs instead we consume them whenever we eat certain foods that contain that specific vitamin. Vitamins are very important when it comes to our body here in the next couple of pages I will be showing a couple of very essential vitamins and what they do as well as how to consume it.
VITAMINS
It helps with the production and activity of WBC's while also being able to help the bone remodeling process and regulate cell growth and mitosis which both help with the immune health, it is also crucial for our vision. If we end up getting to much of an amount we can be at risk for falls due to the symptoms we may acquire such as headaches, nausea, dizziness, blurry vision and liver issues.

RDA is 900micrograms for men and 700 micrograms for women

The beta Carotene converts in Vit. A which is great for our vision and eye health as explained in a previous place. Helping make our immune stronger and stronger. Beta carotene protects the body from certain elements. Big doses of it can be toxic and possibly lead to chronic illness.

RDA is 6-15 milligrams

Beta Carotene (VITAMIN A )
Comes in two different forms nicotinic acid as well as nicotinamide. The vitamin helps convert nutrients into energy, creates cholesterol as well as fats, and helps with DNA reactants and products. Excessive amounts of this vitamin may cause some liver damage, flushing of the body, headaches, and stomach issues, and if taken in even larger doses it can cause ulcers.

Pyridoxal 5' phosphate is the active form of pyridoxine. It helps assist in breakdowns, as well as supporting the immune system and brain. Commonly known as Vit. B7, it plays a role in assisting enzymes to break down fats, carbs, and proteins in foods, converting food into energy. They are known to help with hair, skin, and cuticles, however, a decreased amount of Biotin may lead to prbloms in all those regions it is said to help.

Another B vitamin is Folate vitamin B9. This vitamin helps process the DNA and RNA within our body as well as helps in our protein metabolism. It is an important function in helping produce our RBC. Also helping our cells be able to grow and function properly. This vitamin is mainly taken during pregnancy in order to reduce any birth defects that may occur. An excessive amount of folate or folic acid its synthetic form will increase our risk of cancer.

An important role of Vitmin B 12 is the role it portrays throughout our red blood cell formation, nerve functions, and the production of our DNA. Meaning it plays a major role in our genetic DNA makeup. It is also required for our central nervous system. A deficiency of Vitamin B12 can cause gastritis being an inflammation pertaining to the stomach lining, as well as digestive diseases

This vitamin is good for controlling infections and healing wounds. It can fight off many infectious bacteria that may enter the body. It helps with our immune system and prevents clots within our arteries, while also working with our cell signaling and regulating gene expressions. This is one of only a couple of vitamins that we are able to get an excessive amount of however if it is dramatically exceeded we will be in risk of a hemorrhage. If taking too little of this vitamin we will have a decrease in immune function as hell as develop damage to our retina
