
Hello, My name is Tanner and I am here to help you better understand some history of the world from the early Egyptians to modern Asia and the middle east. But first, we must understand geography. There are two types of imaginary lines: latitude, longitude, latitude going left and right, and longitude going up and down. These two lines will meet and make a grid called coordinates. These coordinates help you on where to go.
GEOGRAPHY

MONEY
I think we all like money, money helps us buy things like video games and toys. Well, buying those things brings forth an economy, an economy is like a way of saying how people live in a community. There are 4 Main economies: Traditional, Market, Command, and Mixed.

Economies
Traditional: the entire economy is controlled by the people
Market: people only control what they sell
Command: government controls everything
Mixed: a mixture of every other economy
Developed countries are the countries with the most money, technology, and their GDP is high. GDP is the measurement of the final pays in markets within a time period and within a country, GDP per capita is the average pay a person can get a year. A GDP per capita higher than $29,000 is a developed country. Undeveloped countries are countries with less money, technology and a lower GDP and GDP per capita.

GOVERNMENT

There are many governments, so I am going to simply explain the 7 main types of governments in today's world and in the past.
Types of governments
Democracy: allows people power to do things in the state, or chooses other people to do so.
Theocracy: highly religious people rule this government.
Dictatorship: a single person takes over by force.
Types of Government continued
Oligarchy: A group of people such as a family rule this government
Monarchy: where the Monarch's control is limited by government
Absolute Monarchy: Where the Monarch has all control with no limits
Republic: Where power is held with the public
RELIGIONS
1. Christianity
2. Islam
3. Buddhism
4. Hinduism
5. Judaism
Christianity was started by Jesus Christ, people who practice this are called Christians. Islam was started by Muhammed Ali, people who practice this are called Muslims.
Buddhism was started by Buddha, people who practice this are called Buddhists. There is no founder of Hinduism, people who practice this are called Hindus. Judaism was started by Moses, people who practice this are called Jews

That's a great question! We will be learning about Africa now! We will talk about Ancient Egypt! The desert with pyramids. Egypt has many gods. Including the sun god; Ra, or the crocodiles god; Sobek. They pretty much have a god for everything.
