Geography

Our first stop in this adventure is geography. Geography is all About the earth, how the earth is being affected, and what is affecting it. Geography talks about stuff like rivers, mountains, and a bunch of awesome things about our amazing planet earth.
Also, what can you do when you're lost? Latitude and longitude can help, these are. Latitude and longitude are imaginary lines that can be used to mark places on Earth. Latitude are the lines going from north to south and longitude are the lines going from east to west. The lines in the exact middle are called the Prime Meridian and the Equator. These lines can be used to see the 4 hemispheres of the earth. The Prime meridian is the one that goes from north to south and divides the earth into the eastern and western hemispheres. Also, the Equator is the one that goes from east to south and divides the planet into the northern and southern hemispheres. Also another cool thing is they have a major part in geography!
Economy
The next stop in our adventure is the four main groups of the economy. The four main types of economy are command, traditional, mixed, and finally market.

Government
On our third stop, we are going to be talking about government. Today the 5 most popular governments are democracy, republic, monarchy, communism, and dictatorship. A democracy is when everyone has an equal say in the government. In a Republic, their rules are kinda like a democracy but instead of 1 person getting power a group does. In a monarchy, the power goes to a family and they have the power until they die. In communism, a single party or group of people usually holds the power. In a dictatorship, a single person has all the power and they usually use force to rule.

Ants like us like have a monarchy because we serve a queen that tells us what to do.
Did you know that most of the things you do are based on your culture? Well it's true most things in life are usually based on your culture such as the clothes you wear, the food you eat, the music you listen to, your religion, the holidays you celebrate, your traditions, and even what you do at home is all affected by your culture!

Culture
Religion
Since we just got done with culture that brings us to religion. Religion is sometimes determined by religion. There are 5 main types of religion: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism. Christianity is when you believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Islam is when you believe in 1 god and you believe that Muhammad is the messenger of that god. If you are a part of Hinduism you would believe in Brahman, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. If you are a Buddhist you would believe in Siddhartha Gautama and him being the first person to reach a state of pure enlightenment. If you are a part of Judaism you would believe that there is only 1 indivisible god. Also, there are 2 different types of religion monotheism and polytheism. Polytheism is when you only believe in 1 god and monotheism is when you believe in more than 1 god.

River civilizations
Let's take some examples of famous river civilizations. One of them is the ancient Egyptians who lived near the Nile River in Egypt. They built amazing structures like pyramids and created their own writing system using pictures called hieroglyphics, and believed in powerful gods. Another River civilization is the Indus Valley civilization, which developed along the Indus River in what is now modern-day Pakistan and India. The people there built well-organized cities with advanced plumbing systems and had their own writing system called the Indus script. Lastly, we have Mesopotamia, located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The people there invented many things like the wheel, built huge temples called ziggurats, and developed the first writing system using wedge-shaped symbols called cuneiform.

age of empires
During this time, many important civilizations and leaders played significant roles. One of them was China, which had different dynasties ruling over the land. Dynasties are like big families that ruled for a long time. For example, there were the Tang and Song dynasties, known for their advancements in arts, poetry, and inventions like paper and printing. In Africa, there were powerful and prosperous kingdoms. One example is the Kingdom of Mali, led by Mansa Musa, who was one of the wealthiest people in history. Mali was famous for its gold and salt trade, and it had great centers of learning like Timbuktu. Oh, Sorry looks like our adventure was cut a little short due the small page size. Don't worry though we'll continue on the next page
