The Cell Island

Once upon a time there was a young boy named
John the Pirate, who found a treasure map. The
treasure map lead to the biggest treasure on
Cell Island.

John went to go search for
the treasure, but first he had
to find a ride. He decided to
travel with the Rough Endoplasmic
Reticulum, the finest transportation
system on the island.

While on the boat, John met Rachel
the Ribosome, who was delivering a
package to Gabriel the Golgi Apparatus.

When he finally reached the "x", all he found was
Matt the Mitochondria. Matt was making energy
for the cell. Cell Island got their energy from the
volcano, and only Matt knew how to convert the
energy into power. Matt then gave John the
directions to get to the real "x".

On the way to the treasure, John went down a micro-
tuble path and ran into some RNA pirates. RNA
stands for Rough, Nasty, and Aggressive.
They were the biggest and baddest pirates ever.

John then found the next "x'' among the
Smooth ERs, who were cleaning the air
from pollutants. The Smooth ERs take
out toxic and other hurtful things from
the island.

The ''x'' had a note that read, "You will
find the real "x" where young pirates
train, and where the head trainer stays."
John thought to himself, "That
must mean the Nucleus!"

Arrgggg!

When John arrived at the Nucleus, he saw two young
pirates training to be ribosome transporters. The head trainer,
Nick the Nucleolus was teaching them. John was lucky,
because Nick was not always on the Cell Island.
