In today's fast-paced world, the role of technology in education has become increasingly prominent, offering unprecedented access to knowledge and skills. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have revolutionized learning, making high-quality education accessible to anyone with an internet connection. My journey with Coursera and LinkedIn Learning exemplifies the transformative power of these platforms in enhancing knowledge and skills.

Introduction

Online Learning and my experience 

During the COVID pandemic, I enrolled in Sheridan College for my studies. As all the courses were offered online, it was a new experience for me as I was accustomed to in-person learning. However, this experience opened up a new world for me. I began to explore online learning opportunities to improve my academic performance and develop my skill set, which was beneficial as my course had a technology focus.

Advantages Of MOOCS

1. One of the primary benefits of MOOCs is their accessibility. Students can access MOOCs from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

2. MOOCS are most often Free to learn or more cheaper than traditional education

3. It is Self paced, i am able to take my time learning about the topic.

4. The courses are taught by experts who have years of experience in the related topic.

5. Diverse course offerings.

Impact of Technology In my Academics

Online learning has played a crucial role in enhancing my academic performance and expanding my knowledge base. While my regular programs tend to cover basics or rush through topics, online courses have provided me with the opportunity to delve deeper into each subject. By utilizing outside resources and MOOCs, I've been able to conduct more thorough research, gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the material. This approach has not only improved my grades but has also enriched my learning experience, allowing me to develop a more nuanced perspective on various topics
