Digital footprint refers to the information, traces, or data crumbs left behind by users after their web activities. Especially children and young users, known as digital natives, often share their personal information and photos on online platforms and Apps without realizing that their online activities leave a trail.
With this project, we aim to raise awareness among our students about their digital footprints, to help them understand their responsibilities in using digital media, comprehend the impact of their online activities.

WHAT IS DIGITAL FOOTPRINT?
Whenever we use the internet, we leave behind a trail of information known as your digital footprint.
There are so many reason for this. For example, posting on social media, subscribing to a newsletter or web site, leaving an online comment abour some topic, or shopping online.
WHY IS IMPORTANT
DIGITAL FOOTPRINT?
Digital footprint can have a lasting impact (both positive and negative) on our reputation, relationships, finances, and employment opportunities.
Understanding how this works is an important step towards making this impact a positive one.
WHAT IS DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP?
Digital citizenship is the ability to use technology responsibly, safely and respectfully. It refers to the ability to protect private information online, mitigate risks associated with cyberthreats or online threats and utilizing information and media in a respectful, knowledgeable and legal way.
Digital citizenship continues to evolve as technology becomes more complex, but the underlying theme of digital citizenship remains the same: staying safe and responsible when using digital technology.
