It was a beautiful summers morning. Sophie and her cat, Millie, were still sleeping. Sophie has an amazing 

( and uncommon) talent. She could talk to animals! I'll tell you her animal friends names. 

Millie, as you already know, is her cat.

Tiny, is her small mouse friend.

Woof, is her cute puppy friend.

Flopsy, is her hoppity bunny friend.

Hazel, is her pony friend.

Now let's get back to the story.

When Millie woke up, Sophie was already up and eating her breakfast. " Good morning, Millie." she said. " Good morning to you too." Millie replied. " What do you say we go see Tiny, Hazel, Flopsy, and Woof today?" Sophie asked. " Miaw! That would be great!" Millie replied. Sophie gave Millie a bowl of fresh porridge. " Thanks, Sophie."

" Your welcome," Sophie replied." We'll go see them soon."

Millie and Sophie arrived at the forest where there friends live. " Hey, guys! What's the matter? Where's Woof?" Sophie asked. " Woof, he... he... he got..." Hazel muttered. " HE GOT KIDNAPPED!!!" Flopsy interrupted then she burst into tears. " What!? He got kidnapped? How!? When!? What are we going to do?" Millie cried. " Um, guys?" Tiny asked in her small voice. "Shouldn't we f-f-find him?"

" Tiny's right!" Sophie said. " We're gonna find Woof!"

Sophie's reply was a chorus of " Yes! We shouldn't let Woof down!" Sophie placed Tiny on her shoulder and off they went!

Soon they came to a nearby beach. There they met a green sea turtle. " Have you seen our friend Woof?" Sophie asked." He got kidnapped!"

" Well let me see here..." The old turtle said. " Say! I did see a young dog lad being carried by a great black bear!"

" Oh thank you so much old sea turtle!" Sophie said. "Which way did they go?"

" Well let me see here..." He replied. " They went that way" He said pointing left. " Oh, thanks again!" Sophie said. And they set off.
