Today is an exciting day in Mr. Bell's second grade class

This is the day that they get a student teacher

Student teachers...

-help around the classroom

-teach lessons

-make learning fun

Mr. Bell told them that a student teacher is a person that is learning how to be a teacher just like him

Their job is to help around the classroom, teach lessons, and to make learning fun

Students:

Be kind, respectful, helpful

Be on your best behavior

Mr. Bell told his students that their job is to be kind and respectful to the student teacher

He even told them that sometimes grownups can get nervous too just like kids so they should be on their best behavior 

Suddenly, the students heard a knock at the door

Their student teacher was there!

Ms. Hill

The student teacher introduced herself as Ms. Hill

She is a college student that is learning how to be a teacher

Ms. Hill said that she was so excited to get to know them
