We are now going down the hill. This is even

scarier. The engineer has a new blue engine. It

will be alright. I will just close my eyes.

Now we are going through Kansas. Kansas is

the wheat state. I thinik I will take a very long

nap and the engineer can wake me up when we

get to Florida.

The engineer just woke me up. Here we are

in Miami Florida. The city looks pretty at night. I

can't wait until tomorrow so I can go to the

beach. The train will be here a while picking up

oranges and grapefruit. I am getting a little

hungry. I hope I can find something to eat.

Oh I better look good. People are looking at

me. I think my hat is on straight. I will stand

here and let them admire my hat. They should

be wearing hats to keep from getting

sunburned.

Oh it is so nice to wade and I found this little

Island. The people are running do you think I

scared them away. I hope not. I think I have

played long enough I better get back to the

train I don't want to miss it because I am

anxious to see my friends down at the swamp.

I want to see Miss Lizzie. She is my friend. Oh

I just saw a bottle floating in the ocean. I will

bend down and get it. Do you suppose that

there is a message inside the bottle?

I have gotten here and it isn't far to the train. I

will read the message in the bottle just as soon

as I get on the train. It might be interesting.

Now I am on the train. I can see

what it says. Ok I got it out of the bottle and it

lookd kindof familiar. Oh my I can't believe it. It

is from Miss Lizzie. It say's somebody help. Old

Elmo is stuck in the mud at the swamp. Olh my

I lhope we get to the swamp soon. I wonder

how long he has been in there? Oh good the

train is starting up. I hope I get there in time. I

can help get him out.

"Miss Dinah Dinosaur goes to Florida"

Miss Dinah has decided that she is home sick for her friends at the swamp, When she gets to Florida she goes to the beach while the train is loading and then she finds a bottle with a note in it. Lo and behold it is a note from her friend Miss Lizzie. It says that Old Elmo has gotton stuck in the mud at the swamp and she needs help. The engineer let Miss Dinah off at the swamp and she and her friend try to pull him out but he is stuck and then Mr Brawny comes by and helps and they get him out.
