The Montgomery bus boycott of
1955 was when a group of women
had not given up their seats to a
white person on the bus. This caused
a lot of trouble but when the civil
rights leaders heard about this they
had an idea that if they just did not

Freedom riders were 13 african
americans and white civil rights
activist who rode buses into
integrated south bus terminals.
These same freedom riders were hired by CORE(Congress
of racial equality) to influence other people to join the in
efforts to integrate the bus terminals of the deep south.
The freedom riders group that grew rapidly started to test
the law in numbers. Some of them sat wherever they
wanted on buses, which was legal, and others walked into
integrated facilities where you would not find black
usually.Towards the end of this movement the riders saw
success as the Interstate Commerce Commission issued
regulations prohibiting segregation in interstate transit
terminals.

The Albany movement was the first massive
movement in the civil rights movement.By this i
meant that the movement consisted of the arrest
of several hundred backs and the jailing of more
than a thousand blacks. This movement also did
not meet what king and other civil rights leader
wanted it to. What this movement was supposed
to do was to desegragate certein buildings that
prviously were segragated before.

The march on washington was a march that
included 200,000 blacks and whites in an
effort to get more jobs available black as when
they graduated they could not find any job
openings.this march was most known for
Martin Luther King's I Have dream speech.
Although it was well know for the speech, it also
impacted all the civil rights movement. This is
because as a result of this march the passing of
the civil rights of 1964 was made faster. This act
banned the discrimination of any race, ethnicity,
sex,color,or country of origin.
