The Challenger Deep, (sometimes called the Marianas Trench), is the deepest spot in 

the ocean.

At 7 miles below the sea, it is as deep as Mt. Everest is tall.

Even in this dark and scary place. There is still 

light, although, not from the sun....

but from the animals and plants themselves.

Here we can find the most strange and unique animals in the ocean.

I think that they are the coolest too.

There are hundreds of these curious animals in the 

Challenger Deep.

Each is as special as the last.

These animals almost never see sunlight. So some 

have to make there own.
