Perhaps they are not
stars in the sky,
but rather openings in heaven where the love
of our lost ones pours through and
shines down to let us know they are
happy

Hospice from A to Z has been created as a tool for parents and loved ones to discuss the often scary concepts surrounding the end-of-life process. The simple ABC design allows for parents or loved ones to explain to young children things they may experience when someone they love becomes ill and comes under the care of a loving hospice team. We encourage young readers to color the pictures to make it personal.
The goal of this book is to help remove some of the fear and stigma associated with the death process and hospice services. This book was intentionally designed to allow individuals to explain end-of-life concepts in a way that is consistent with their own belief system. Additionally, to assist parents and loved ones explain these end-of-life concepts; we have included common ways to talk about the topics at the end of this book.
