The Patriots had more opportunities.

The patriots got religious freedom.

The patriots were under British rule, but they were still in a separate country, they got to worship their religions (different groups had different religions) freely unlike in Britain.

The patriots had more jobs available to them.

They needed stuff built and grown and things like that. For the few people who didn’t use African who were forcefully abducted from their country, there were more jobs available in industries like farming and agriculture and things like that.

The British were under strict rule of a king and they(the Patriots) had more freedoms and opportunities.

They left their home and went to “The New World” and they got to worship their religions. Also, things had to be done in the new country to make it a country so that made jobs available to people. This shows that they are better because they got to actually be free.
