This kind of sport was invented in 1891 by James Naysmith who wanted to keep the gym lessons in rainy days.Then he had an idea,he attached a simple basket to a wall and told the students to throw a soccerball in it.After some lessons he had a problem with the bottom of the basket,and he removed it.And that's how it started.
The most popular basketball player is Michael Jordan,he is a professional player and also a businessman,he played 15 seasons in NBA for "Chicago Bulls".He is also popular for his trick 'The Slam dunk".
