Once Upon a time, there was a girl named Mindy. Mindy wanted to Explore all the ecoregions of Texas, so she left her wooden cottage in the woods and set off for the Piney Woods ecoregion!

Eco-region-Land with communities and species, boundaries that approximate the extent of communities to major land.

When Mindy got to the Piney Woods she saw how many of the rocks were weathering away she also saw that it was caused by water getting into the cracks, freezing, then cracking open the rock. The piney woods actually had many of these cool rocks and canyons. When she was done exploring all the cool rocks she met up with her friend Sandy. Her & sandy both liked to travel. Their next stop: Edwards plateau.

Mindy and sandy finally arrived at Edwards plateau after a long walk from the piney woods. Mindy and sandy found out that Edwards plateau was formed by erosion moving all the sand and rocks away. the average temperature is about 85 yo 95 degrees.
