One day, a boy and his father went on a vacation to Vienna, Austria during the summer to have fun and go to new places, they both stayed in a fancy hotel full of luxury. On a beautiful Sunday morning, the boy said to his father, "dad can we go out today" and the father replied " yes son why not", so they prepared and left to different places like the zoo, water parks and a golf centre

then after eating and having fun the boy pointed at a building that had smoke coming out of a steel chimney and he said to his father "dad what is that place and why is there smoke coming out of the building", then his dad said, "well, let's go check it out". They walked down and saw that this was not an ordinary building it was a pharmaceutical industry. This industry had many people working there, thousands of people, then as they walked around inside,

they saw some group of people both men and women wearing white lab coats, they seemed to be really working on something very important, the boy then asked his father "dad can i enter and see what they are working on" and the father said well son, "I am not sure if you are allowed in there because it looks like what they are working on is important", but the boy did not take no for an answer so he went on without his father knowing. When the boy got there,

he knocked on the door, one of the scientist opened the door, looked round, then looked down and was surprised to see the little boy standing there, then the boy asked "may I come in?", the scientist said "well yes you may" and the boy entered the fancy room which was called the lab. It had many chemicals and machines that were being used in this lab and the boy asked one of the scientists

"what are you guys doing in this room, why are there so many machines and chemicals?" and the scientist said to him, "wow, you ask a lot of questions, you must really be smart, and then the scientist asked him a question before answering his questions, and as he asked the boy this question he was walking around the lab and showing him what they were all working on.

he asked the boy " do you know what they call an enzyme?" and the boy looked up and said "well I don't know what an enzyme is, could you tell me what it is?" and the scientist answered and said "enzymes are usually proteins that help to speed up the work on specific reactions in cells, they are important tools in our industry for production of medicine and other bioproducts" (Name, and the boy gasped and said " wow", the scientist continued and said "yes little boy, amazing eh! An interesting fact we have five types of enzymes" the boy said, "what are they?"

and the scientist said "well we have Rennet, Lactose, Catalase, Lipase and Proteases they are all natural enzymes, but for our production, we mostly use the artificial ones and that is Ribonuclease. It is the fastest enzyme and it helps speed up the work in a cell" (Name,2014), "the boy then said why do we need an enzyme to speed up the reaction in our cell and another scientist said to him "well because if we do not have enzymes in our body to speed up the reaction in our cell we won't be alive today" (Name, 2014), and the boy then said "then how do I form and enzyme?" and the scientist said to him

by eating foods that contain enough proteins every day. The boy asked "then why are you guys using an artificial enzymes, why not use the natural enzymes" and the scientist said to him, "well artificial enzymes are synthetic, they are not natural but they are very useful sometimes even more useful than the natural ones, they are man-made and they are able to make an exact copy of the natural enzymes and they do the same thing (Name, 2014).
