Cronus and Rhea had six children Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera. All of the children had been ate by Cronus but Zeus. Cronus was afraid of the children having to much power so he ate them .

Uranus and Gaea helped Rhea trick Cronus. Rhea wrapped up a rock in cloth and gave it to Cronus to eat. He had thought it was Zeus but it really wasn't. Rhea had sent Zeus to the island of Crete so he would be safe.

Once Zeus got old enough, he started a battle with his father and the titans. The battle was called the titanomachy. Zeus got his brothers and sisters back from Cronus stomach by giving him a special type of herb to make the siblings come out.

With the help of Zeus siblings, they defeated Cronus. After defeating Cronus, Zeus ran into giants and a monster typhoon, witch he both defeated. Zeus, poseidon, and Hades let the luck decide who would become the new king of the gods.
