It was a beautiful day and Emily sat knitting by her window. In the back ground, a man crept with a body.

" Homer, I am so happy with you here." Emily said. " I am never letting you go." Usually, Emily would hear a small voice within her. This time, she heard nothing. " Homer?" She turned around and he was not there! She stood up quickly. She was furious!"

Emily walked out of her house and was determined to go find Homer. She knew anyone who would take Homer would take him to the Rose Petal Cemetery. She began walking down a trail in the woods which led directly to the cemetery.

As Emily walked down the trail, the heat got hotter and hotter. She stumbled upon Meursault; a man she had heard about, but never seen. " What are you up to little old lady?, he asked. " I am going to find my husband." she answered. " I'll come with you Meursault insisted.

" Wait, Meursault paused, " isn't homer dead?" Emily stood quietly looking up at the trees. " You don't have to come if you don't want to," she replied. " I don't think it is worth going. I mean, he is dead already. What you do does not matter in life." Well, I am going, you can not tell me what to do." "Hey Mrs. Emily, how are you ma'am," a voice said from behind

" Not now, Gwendolen. I am in a hurry." Emily replied. " May I come with?" " Sure, whatever." " Where are you going?" " She is going to go find Homer. There is no point. He is dead already." " Hey, that's her love. I would do the same for Earnest, oh Earnest, what a beautiful name!"

" There's nothing to look for!" Meursault screamed. " What. Do. You. Mean. By. That!?" " Well, I-I mean, he is already dead. Why look for him?" " I am going to look for him! You can stay here!" " No, no I'll go with you."
