In 3500 B.C, there was a small family. Including the father, the mother and their son. They were nomads, meaning they lived in a temporary shelter. And wanted to find a good place to live. The first place they found was a desert.

Look, we barely have any flat land here. We should go find another place.

Yeah, We should. But where?

The second place they came to was a forest.

This is fun

This place is even worse!

Then, they came to a place with no flat land and there was no fertile soil.

So, they decided to come up with a list of what they want to have in a perfect place.

Flat Land

A river

Rainy weather(so their crops can get watered)

After long days of traveling, they came to a place where there was a river between two lands. Someone living there told them that the name of the place was Mesopotamia.
