Economics is when people make, sell, and use things that are useful

A producer is the person/people who make the thing

A consumer is the person/people who use the thing

Government

The reason we have government is to protect people and their rights

There are over 100 types of government

Culture is people's beliefs, customs, ideas, religion, government, language ect.

Ethnocentrism is when people think their culture is better than other cultures

Cultural delusion is the movement of customs and ideas

Religion

The five major religions are Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism

People need religion to give them purpose and make sense of the world

The Egyptian kingdoms were built along the Nile river. It flooded every summer which made the land very fertile so they could farm.

Their king was called a Pharaoh and they believed they were a god

They were the first to have a theocracy (a type of government)

Chinese dynasties

Some of the major dynasties were the Shang and the Zhou. They believed in the Mandate of Heaven

How it works: 1st Everything is wonderful

2nd the dynasty becomes corrupt

3rd natural disasters occur

4th the current dynasty overthrown

and last a new dynasty takes over and the cycle starts over
